Finance & Accounting Reports To: Accounting Manager
Position Summary
We are looking for an analytical powerhouse with a strong financial sense—someone who doesn't just identify discrepancies but actively digs into the data to solve complex problems flexibly. You will own the GL function, optimize our cost and inventory reporting, and help steer our financial controls. If you thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment and want to be part of a forward-thinking green energy team, we want to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
· GL Ownership & Month-End Close: Manage the end-to-end General Ledger function, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closes.
· Manufacturing Accounting: Oversee complex balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals, and variance analysis specifically tailored to inventory and manufacturing cycles. Develop, maintain, and analyze standard costing systems, bills of materials (BOM), and labor/overhead rates.
· ERP Optimization: Serve as the hands-on expert for our NetSuite platform, ensuring clean data tracking, system optimization, and efficient financial reporting.
· Proactive Problem Solving: Actively audit and analyze financial data to identify operational bottlenecks, cost-saving opportunities, or process gaps, resolving them with practical flexibility.
· Audit & Controls: Maintain robust internal controls. Assist in preparing documentation for external audits and scaling processes to support future corporate milestones.
Qualifications
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of dedicated General Ledger accounting experience strictly within the manufacturing industry, including 2–3 years of direct hands-on experience with cost accounting in a factory/production setting.
· Systems Expertise: Hands-on proficiency with NetSuite/Oracle or SAP is required. Deep familiarity with NetSuite is a major advantage.
· Core Competencies: Exceptional financial acumen, a collaborative spirit that thrives in a diversified culture, and a proven track record of solving accounting puzzles independently.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications (The "Pluses")
· Prior experience navigating an IPO preparation process or working within a publicly traded company.
· CPA or CMA tracking/certification.
· Familiarity with standard cost accounting concepts in a factory/production setting.
What We Offer
· Highly attractive and competitive compensation package tailored to reward your senior manufacturing expertise.
· Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.
