Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead 3 Year Old Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curriculum plans, and foster a positive learning environment for young children. Your expertise in early childhood education and child development will inspire curiosity, support growth, and build strong relationships with children and their families.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans tailored to 3-year-olds, incorporating literacy education, math, physical activity, and social-emotional learning.
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and active participation.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management strategies to promote cooperation and respect.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering collaborative relationships.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child development progress.
- Incorporate special education techniques and early intervention strategies to support diverse learning needs.
- Lead classroom activities that promote childhood development, including motor skills, language acquisition, and social skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional training in childhood development or special education is a plus.
