Rising Tides Recovery Services is currently hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for the Overnight shift! Rising Tides Recovery Services is a Dual Diagnosis Drug and Alcohol detox/residential program in beautiful Dana Point CA. Rising Tides Recovery Services provides a safe and comfortable environment for those seeking recovery from drug and alcohol addiction while maintaining a recovery-focused culture.
Primary Duties:
- Provide safe, nurturing, and transparent environment in which clients can trust us to help them recover
- Supervise clients self-administer medications
- Observe and report concerning client behaviors
- De-escalation and quick problem solving
- Light housekeeping
- Documentation
Requirements:
- An ability to manage tasks throughout the day with minimal supervision
- Valid CPR/First Aid Certification, or ability to obtain one upon hire
- Valid RADT preferred, or ability to obtain upon hire
- The integrity to ask for guidance and additional assistance when needed
- Strives for excellence, consistency, and commitment
- Ability to stay calm in the midst of external chaos without minimizing the client's challenges while maintaining an environment in which the client feels valued and heard.
- Availability to work overnights and weekends
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working in drug/alcohol treatment
- Knowledge of safe procedures to monitor client administration of medication
- Familiarity with 12-step programs and other self-help modalities
- Experience with the EMR system, KIPU
