Sudbury Design Group is seeking an experienced Landscape Estate Care Manager to oversee the ongoing care, maintenance, and improvement of premier residential properties throughout Greater Boston.
This is a hands-on property management and field leadership position for someone who can see the whole picture—from landscape quality and plant health to irrigation, lighting, pools, outdoor living spaces, specialty contractors, client communication, and crew performance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance, estate care, or property management, supported by practical horticultural knowledge. You should be comfortable evaluating an entire residential property, identifying concerns and opportunities, setting priorities, directing crews, coordinating outside service providers, and ensuring that every detail is handled professionally.

What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing people, properties, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You should have:
- Prior experience managing landscape maintenance, estate care, fine gardening, or horticulture crews. Current Account Manager's looking for increased responsibilities and opportunities for advancement.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems
- Strong plant identification knowledge
- Understanding of proper plant care, including pruning of ornamental trees and shrubs
- Experience with residential irrigation systems; troubleshooting and repair experience is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
- A strong customer-service mindset
- A valid driver’s license
- Reliability, punctuality, and a team-first attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Landscape, Horticulture, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of landscape, horticulture, fine gardening, or estate care management experience
- Landscape industry certifications are a plus
- At least two years of landscape, horticulture, fine gardening, estate care, or property-management experience
- Massachusetts Certified Horticulturist or comparable industry certification
- Experience managing high-end residential properties
- Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator License or familiarity with plant-health-care programs
- Irrigation, lighting, snow-management, enhancement-estimating, or landscape-construction experience
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and specialty service providers
