Job Description:
The Radiology Technologist I performs radiographic procedures using ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, cares for patients, and assists the physician in the administration of radiopaque media in the performance of routine or special procedures. This position administers non-radioactive contrast.
Qualifications:
Completed two- (2) year degree program in Radiologic Technology
Registry eligible or certification as a Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Must be certified within the first thirty (30) days of hire. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from American Heart Association within six (6) months of hire.
*Centra Medical Group & Central Virginia Imaging Radiology Technologists are required to hold and maintain a Virginia State Radiologic Technologist License in addition to ARRT certification*

Pay: $28.37 - $42.56 per hour
