Job Overview:
Provides emergency Home Provider Services to prevent gaps in service whenever regular staff and/or attendants are absent or gap coverage is necessary, plus general in-office clerical duties as needed.
Minimum qualifications:
o High School Diploma/GED
o Minimum six months continuous months experience in delivering personal care tasks
o Demonstrated experience in caring for bed bound patients
o Physical ability to perform personal care tasks
o Bilingual
o Computer skills
o Reliable transportation
o Patient assignments are within Home Health Service Delivery Area of Cameron, Hidalgo & Willacy Counties
F/T; 40 hours/week (8a-5p) 5 Days a Week (See Scheduled Workdays Below) Regular office Employee with full benefits. No permanent Attendant Schedule:
o Wednesday through Sunday (workdays)
Primary Duties:
1. Provides emergency GAP coverage home provider services to agency patients when regular attendant(s) are absent or sick
2. General In-office clerical duties in between GAP assignments (Filing, typing, answering telephone, Community Outreach activities
