We are a specialty packaged food company with distribution into the retail and foodservice sector across the USA and Canada. After 30 years in business, we continue to add talented individuals to our team.
We are looking to hire individuals with experience in order processing, booking freight, vendor & customer management, and inventory planning. The ideal candidate is an effective multi-tasker, and has experience with processing orders through EDI and with various ERP systems. The individual has the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, review, and process purchase orders accurately and coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and freight carriers for shipment of orders
- Prepare routing and shipping documents as well as perform invoicing.
- Prepare necessary follow-up to ensure delivery can be made by the specified dates required.
- Strong customer service & communication skills: effectively communicate with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
- Experience with Quickbooks Enterprise is a plus.
- Assist with inventory planning, logistics and QC.
- Detail oriented and can efficiently multi-task and follow through quickly.
- Experience with import documents & logistics is a strong plus.
- College Degree preferred.
- Interest in cooking and the culinary arts is another plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
