Position Summary
PK Industrial is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead industrial insulation, fireproofing, scaffolding, and coatings projects across the Gulf Coast region. This project-based position requires travel to customer sites as needed.
The Project Manager will oversee all phases of project execution, from planning and resource coordination through completion and closeout. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong industrial construction experience, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects in refinery, petrochemical, energy, or industrial environments.

Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of industrial construction and maintenance projects from planning through completion.
- Coordinate project resources, including labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and progress reports.
- Ensure projects are executed safely and in compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor project costs, productivity, and performance to achieve financial and operational goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring expectations are met.
- Collaborate with site management, field supervisors, and support teams to drive project success.
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve issues that could impact safety, quality, schedule, or cost.
- Review contracts, scopes of work, change orders, and project documentation.
- Lead project meetings with customers, field personnel, and internal stakeholders.
- Support estimating and business development efforts by providing input on future opportunities and project strategies.
- Ensure accurate project reporting, invoicing support, and project closeout documentation.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in industrial construction, industrial services, or related industries.
- Experience managing insulation, scaffolding, fireproofing, coatings, or other industrial maintenance projects preferred.
- Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration.
- Experience working in refinery, petrochemical, LNG, power generation, or heavy industrial environments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience with project scheduling and project management software is preferred.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety requirements.
- Ability to travel throughout the Gulf Coast region and work at project sites as required.
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain required customer site access credentials.
