Overview
Our team of Nurses works closely with Individuals in our residential facilities along with other direct care staff. We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will champion the health, safety, and independence of adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. You will provide direct clinical oversight, partner with local physicians, and support our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in delivering person-centered care.
Duties include:
- Assessments of biological, psychological and social needs of consumers
- Evaluate and document information on consumer's health care interventions/medications/treatments
- Direct care in residential facilities
- Report findings and make recommendations as a participant on an Individual's plan team
- Attend meetings including behavior support, psych med, special team and staff meetings
- Monitor and provide direction and training to staff in implementation of health services; training and delegation of medication administration
Requirements include:
- Valid license as Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with Pharmacology Certificate for the State of Ohio
- Maintain certifications in First Aid/CPR, Medication Administration
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record determined by the insurance carrier, proof of liability insurance if transporting consumers in personal vehicle
- Experience working in the field of Developmental Disabilities preferred
Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour
