PAY (TEMP): $30/hour
SALARY (PERM): $70,000 – $100,000 (DOE)

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Temp to PermDESCRIPTION:We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Special Education Teacher to support high school students in a structured, inclusive learning environment. This role begins as a temporary assignment with strong potential to convert to a permanent position.
The ideal candidate is confident in managing IEPs, collaborating with general education teachers, and supporting diverse learners academically and behaviorally.REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s Degree (required)
- At least two years of experience working with students
- Experience working with IEPs and special education compliance
- Experience teaching at the high school level
- Experience teaching in urban and/or low-income areas preferred
- New York State Teaching Certification preferred
- Strong classroom management, collaboration, and communication skills
