Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Hostess Cashier to join our vibrant hospitality team! Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional service to set a positive tone for their visit
- Manage reservation bookings and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating flow
- Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and satisfaction throughout their dining experience
- Handle cashier duties accurately, processing payments swiftly and efficiently while maintaining proper cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, dining area, and waiting zones to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers regarding guest needs, special requests, or seating arrangements
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering guest inquiries via phone or online platforms
Experience
- Prior host/hostess experience in a food service or restaurant setting preferred
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
- Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Knowledge of hotel or guest services operations is a plus
- Previous experience in hospitality roles involving serving, guest relations, or hotel front desk duties is advantageous
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and guest interaction best practices
