About the Position
The Manufacturing Product Line Manager is responsible for owning the end-to-end lifecycle of one or more ElectriBuilt product lines — from initial design and estimating through manufacturing execution and customer delivery. ElectriBuilt is an independent manufacturing company dedicated to the design, production, and delivery of modular electrical power and data infrastructure products ready to connect on-site. This role serves as the primary point of accountability for the commercial, engineering, and operational performance of assigned product lines, working across internal teams to ensure products are designed once, built repeatably, priced correctly, and delivered to customer expectations. In alignment with all Company policies, procedures, key objectives, and regulations, the Manufacturing Product Line Manager drives product line profitability, scalability, and continuous improvement as ElectriBuilt grows. - Experience providing oversight of product line professionals. This may include engineers, designers, estimators, business development, risk, marketing, factory floor supervision, outside nested contractors and coordinators supporting assigned product lines.
Day in the Life
- Own the assigned ElectriBuilt product lines roadmap. Determine which products to manufacture based on market demand, repeatability, and growth opportunity.
- Consistently make decisions in an attentive and safe manner to ensure the safety and health of self and others. Champion safety without compromise as a core design and manufacturing principle within assigned product lines.
- Support the commercial and engineering lifecycle for assigned products, including preliminary engineering, pricing, estimating, supplier agreements, and customer engagement from pre-sale through delivery.
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure products are designed to optimal cost, constructability, and quality standards. Partner with Manufacturing Operations to translate product designs into production-ready build packages and support the production floor during initial runs and ongoing delivery.
- Track production performance, provide feedback on production, and inform estimates using production floor analytics
- Develop and maintain pricing models, cost analyses, and value analysis documentation for assigned product lines. Work with Finance and Sales/Commercial teams to ensure products are positioned competitively and costed accurately for customer proposals.
- Develop and maintain exemplary customer relationships; serve as a key point of contact for product-related questions, scope clarification, and delivery updates. Ensure customer communications and product delivery outcomes consistently meet or exceed expectations.
- Manage OEM and commodity vendor relationships relevant to assigned product lines; coordinate with Procurement on material sourcing, lead times, and inventory planning to support production schedules.
- Utilize LEAN concepts or other continuous improvement methodologies to ensure the most efficient operations, processes, and activities. Lead ongoing product refinement efforts to improve manufacturability, reduce cost, and increase repeatability across the product line.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field required. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, engineering, estimating, or manufacturing operations, ideally in an electrical, industrial, or modular construction environment.
- Strong understanding of the electrical product lifecycle, including design, estimating, manufacturing, and delivery; experience with ETO (engineered-to-order) or power/data infrastructure products highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to own a product or product line across commercial, engineering, and operational dimensions; experience managing customer relationships and supporting sales or estimating activities.
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand electrical plans, drawings, blueprints, specifications, and one-lines; strong technical understanding of electrical systems and integrated products.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, cost analysis, value analysis, and customer proposal development. Ability to balance product performance, manufacturability, and margin.
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to align engineering, manufacturing, commercial, and vendor stakeholders around product line goals without direct authority.
- Comfortable operating in a startup manufacturing environment; self-directed, curious, and able to manage multiple product lines and priorities simultaneously with a bias toward execution.
- Knowledge of LEAN methodologies and continuous improvement principles as applied to product design and manufacturing processes. Experience with computerized design or estimating software is a plus.
