Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service to current and prospective clients.
- Respond to questions regarding insurance coverages, policy changes, billing, claims, and eligibility.
- Conduct customer-focused reviews to identify risks and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
- Generate and follow up on leads through referrals, networking, marketing initiatives, and community involvement.
- Schedule appointments and proactively build new client relationships.
- Prepare quotes, explain coverage options, and assist clients through the application process.
- Maintain accurate client records and process policy transactions efficiently.
- Collaborate with agency team members and company resources to provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Meet individual sales goals while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
- Stay current on insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Previous sales, customer service, or relationship-building experience preferred but not required.
- Property & Casualty license preferred, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- Life & Health license preferred, or willingness to obtain.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable learning new technology and navigating multiple systems.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and goal-oriented with a desire to help others.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Agricultural or farm background is a plus but not required.
