The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in supporting various warehouse functions, including shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, staging inventory, and restocking returns. This position involves operating material handlers, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring accurate inventory management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate material handlers and pallet jacks safely.
- Provide customer service to the production department.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to assign and manage daily tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse.
- Complete daily inspections of equipment.
- Unload and load trucks, ensuring proper labeling and adherence to allergen policies.
- Participate in safety programs and report hazards.
- Identify and report quality assurance issues.
- Complete and record carton orders and maintain accurate inventory.
- Manage staging of ingredients and packaging for production.
- Check in and log visitors to the facility.
- Communicate effectively and foster a positive work environment.
- Maintain punctuality and availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Prior warehouse experience preferred within the past 6-12 months
- Material handler experience required
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Must have at least one year of forklift experience within the past 6-12 months
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged standing and frequent walking
- Occasional sitting, bending, and twisting
- Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs) and occasional carrying (50-75 lbs)
- Ability to work at heights and tolerate cold environments
Work Schedule:
3rd Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday from 10:00pm to 6:30amMonday thru Friday: 10:00pm - 6:30am (3rd Shift)
