Overview
We are seeking a dedicated entry-level Environmental Geologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in geology and technical writing, with environmental and GIS background preferred. This role is multi-functional ranging from Phase I & II ESAs, regulatory remediation, fault and other remote sensing studies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct scientific research to assess environmental conditions and impacts.
- Utilize commercial mapping tools for spatial analysis and mapping.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation to communicate findings effectively.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on various environmental projects.
- Conduct site inspections for commercial properties.
- Help in conducting Phase II ESA sample acquisition in the field.
- Learn and utilize geology background for fault mapping in the Gulf Coast.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a geology major.
- Proficiency in mapping software.
- Strong research skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
- Excellent technical writing skills for report preparation and documentation.
- Ability to work in a strict deadline environmental with minimal error.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
