Schedule: Days – 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 Hours Weekly
Break: 30-Minute Unpaid Break Included
- Local Pay: $2,250/week
- Traveler Pay: $2,667.38/week
We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services within a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures, ensuring patient safety, maintaining imaging quality standards, and supporting efficient clinical operations.
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Operate radiologic imaging equipment to obtain accurate diagnostic images
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety and infection prevention standards
- Review radiographic images for quality and accuracy
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to support patient care
- Ensure imaging equipment is properly maintained and functioning appropriately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Associate’s Degree required (Community College or equivalent program)
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T.) required
- ARRT Certification required
- Current AHA BLS Certification required
- Minimum 2 years of X-Ray experience required
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiology procedures and imaging equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and patient safety practices
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
