Bay Community Health is seeking an experienced and strategic Quality Improvement Nurse (RN) to provide leadership and oversight for key clinical support and operational functions across our organization. The Quality Improvement Nurse plays a critical leadership role in aligning clinical workflows, operational processes, and quality initiatives across the organization. This position partners closely with executive and clinical leadership to drive performance, ensure regulatory readiness, and support high-quality, patient-centered care delivery.

Responsibilites
- Provide leadership and supervision of care management services and clinical support functions.
- Oversee daily operations tied to clinical workflows and patient care coordination.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational strategies with organizational goals.
- Lead the operational implementation of clinical quality initiatives.
- Support and monitor performance related to UDS, HEDIS, and other quality metrics.
- Partner with the Director of Quality Programs & Data Analytics to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Serve as the operational lead for Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) initiatives.
- Support FTCA-related quality activities and ensure ongoing regulatory readiness.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, compliance, and patient outcomes.
- Develop and lead clinical education and training programs for medical support staff.
- Promote best practices and continuous learning across clinical teams.
- Ensure staff are equipped to meet evolving clinical and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Active Maryland RN license required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience; quality improvement or care coordination experience preferred.
- Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies, regulatory standards, and performance improvement processes.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and data collection/reporting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in a primary care or federally qualified health center (FQHC) setting preferred.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
