Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that exceeds expectations.
- Operate square efficiently for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations, seating areas, and equipment.
- Manage food safety protocols by adhering to proper food handling, sanitation standards, and health regulations.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed.
- Handle square register operations accurately
- Support team members during busy periods by managing serving duties and ensuring smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly desirable; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
- Familiarity with square POS
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light supplies, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in food service or retail environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
