Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Baker to join our Eileen’s Cookies team. The Baker will be responsible for preparing a variety of cookies, ensuring quality, freshness, and consistency in every batch. Hours are approximately 6am - 2pm.
Key Responsibilities
· Scoop and bake cookies according to shop standards.
· Ensure all baked goods are fresh, visually appealing, and meet quality requirements.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and utensils.
· Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
· Monitor inventory of dough, baking ingredients and supplies; notify management of shortages.
· May assist with packaging and displaying baked goods for sale.
· Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders and requests.
Qualifications
· Previous experience as a baker, pastry chef, or similar role preferred but not required.
· Passion for baking and creativity with cookie decoration.
· Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
· Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
· Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment
This position requires standing for long periods, working in a fast-paced environment, and occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
