POSITION: School Bus Driver
REPORTS TO: Transportation Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Must be at least 21 years of age
-
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
-
Must pass a background check and drug test
-
Ability to pass the commercial driving test once trained or have a commercial driver’s license
-
Enjoy working with children
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Follow all Federal, State, and Department of Education laws and regulations while driving
-
Provide safe transportation for and maintain order amongst all assigned students
-
Keep accurate records and route updates
-
Conduct routine safety inspections of the bus before and after each route
-
Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior and exterior
-
Promote positive public relations with students, parents, and other school personnel
-
Follow all school transportation policies and procedures
-
Maintain confidentiality for all school-related information
-
Perform other duties assigned by the Transportation Supervisor
SALARY: Per the Transportation Agreement
$21.59-24.83 per hour, depending on experience
