We are seeking a proactive and vigilant Security Officer to safeguard our premises, assets, and personnel. Shifts
Monday - Friday: 10PM - 6AM (Third Shift)
Duties
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and conduct regular surveillance to identify suspicious activity or potential threats.
- Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to prevent unauthorized entry.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR.
- Conduct routine patrols of the premises to ensure safety protocols are followed and identify any hazards or breaches.
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism, de-escalating disputes and coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting suspicious behavior promptly.
- Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security documentation accurately for record-keeping purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; candidates should be prepared to respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and security equipment is essential.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security protocols.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining vigilance throughout shifts.
