Busy Chiropractic office in Northbrook seeks licensed massage therapist. The hours are somewhat flexible depending on candidate availability. There is also the potential to expand hours into different days should our massage hours expand, or potential to cover as fill-in therapist when one of our other therapists are sick or absent. Hourly rate is $35 per hour, however with tips hourly rate is typically $45-55. Also, daily schedule is typically full (thus no unpaid hours), and you are paid for no shows and cancellations.
Requirements:
-Knowledge of Deep Tissue, Sports, and/or problem focused massage
-Must be certified in Pregnancy/Prenatal massage, or at least have worked with pregnant patients previously
-Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with patients and office staff
-Understands and believes in the healing benefits of massage when done in conjunction with Chiropractic
** And while not a requirement, living in the immediate surrounding area is a big plus
