Cherry Picker Forklift Operator
Location: Aurora, IL
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
PROMAN Staffing is hiring a Bi-Lingual Cherry Picker Forklift Operator for our valued client in Aurora, IL. We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused team member who is experienced in operating a cherry picker forklift and is willing to support all warehouse operations as business needs require.This is not a forklift-only position. The ideal candidate understands the importance of teamwork and flexibility and is willing to assist with container loading/unloading, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and other warehouse duties when needed.Responsibilities
- Unload containers and incoming shipments of automotive parts.
- Pick, stage, and prepare parts according to customer orders and shipping requirements.
- Place items on shelves, pallets, or designated storage locations.
- Safely operate cherry pickers and other material-handling equipment.
- Assist with loading and unloading containers during busy periods.
- Support shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and warehouse standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
- Demonstrate flexibility by performing general warehouse duties based on business demands.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of cherry picker forklift experience.
- Must have operated a forklift within the last 6 months.
- Ability to work safely at heights and in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Shipping and receiving documentation experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials as required.
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to assist wherever needed.
- Team-player mentality with a positive attitude and commitment to supporting the success of the operation.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
