Job Title: Pediatric Nurse
Location: Lakewood, Ohio Job Type: Full-Time
Neighborhood Pediatrics in Lakewood, Ohio is seeking a skilled and caring Pediatric Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, strong clinical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both young patients and their families. We are a compassionate and family-centered pediatric office dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare to infants, children, and adolescents. Our team is committed to creating a welcoming, supportive environment for patients and their families while delivering exceptional medical care.
Ideally looking for a nurse to start part time and transition into full time come this fall.
What you’ll do:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, vital signs, and documentation
- Administer immunizations and medications as prescribed
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
- Educate patients and families on health, wellness, and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Triage patient calls and respond to clinical questions
- Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines
What we’re looking for:
- Active RN or LPN license in Ohio
- Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
