Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of projects
- Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, siding, trim carpentry, and fixture installation
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely while maintaining proper power tool safety protocols
- Install various wood construction materials such as framing, siding, flooring, molding, and stucco
- Assist with rebar installation, plastering, caulking, mold remediation, and other restoration industry tasks
- Use woodworking machines for precise cuts and assembly of components in residential carpentry projects
- Support demolition, remodeling, and renovation efforts by preparing work sites and handling materials efficiently
Experience
- Prior construction experience with a focus on carpentry or general labor roles preferred
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings required
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, metal stud framing, and woodworking machines essential
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not mandatory
- Experience working on residential projects or within the restoration industry highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed
- Strong understanding of construction site safety regulations and practices
