American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Hospice Admissions position working day shifts with a flexible service territory of up to 60 miles from the hub office.

Hospice admissions nursing position serving a VA Hospital Center and surrounding Northern Virginia/Fairfax area
-
Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day (admissions)
-
Day shift schedule, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
-
Every 3rd weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)

No on-call responsibilities

Service territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub/office

EMR: Netsmart
-
Active RN license (VA or Compact) currently in hand

Current BLS certification required
-
Minimum 1 year of recent hospice nursing experience required

Flexibility with service territory is expected

Role focuses on patient admissions within the hospice specialty

Timely documentation and clear communication are essential to this role

iPad device provided for use in the field

Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate

Scrubs required (any color); jeans are not permitted

Local candidates are accepted and eligible for the travel rate
