We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for interior design, strong technical skills, and experience in residential projects. As a Kitchen Designer, you will collaborate with clients to create functional, aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces that meet their needs and preferences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative design solutions using advanced CAD and 3D modeling tools, ensuring projects adhere to building codes and client specifications.
Duties
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for kitchen renovation or bathroom projects.
- Develop detailed design concepts utilizing ProKitchen software, AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhinoceros 3D.
- Produce high-quality renderings and visual presentations using company software's, Adobe Photoshop, and other graphic design software.
- Conduct building code analysis to ensure all designs are compliant with local regulations and safety standards.
- Manage multiple design projects from concept through completion, coordinating with contractors and vendors as needed.
- Prepare client presentations and proposals that effectively communicate design ideas and project scope.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and contracts to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Stay updated on current trends in interior design, cabinetry, fixtures, and materials relevant to residential kitchens.
- Be on top of the profit margins, to meet company goals.
- Upsell the latest and greatest designs
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software including SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, ProKitchen or 2020.
- Strong experience with 3D modeling for architectural design and rendering techniques.
- Skilled in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite for presentations and visualizations.
- Expertise in interior design principles with a focus on residential kitchens; experience in remodeling projects is preferred.
- Excellent client communication skills to interpret needs into functional designs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Background in construction or renovation projects with budgeting experience is advantageous.
This role requires a combination of creative talent and technical expertise to deliver exceptional kitchen designs that align with client expectations while adhering to industry standards.
Pay: $52,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
