Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food handling to ensure timely service and high-quality dishes
- Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Organize ingredients and supplies for efficient food service operations
- Help with dishwashing, waste disposal, and sanitation procedures to uphold hygiene regulations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure safety
- Support catering events or special functions as needed, including setup and cleanup
Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with basic cooking techniques and knife skills is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures is highly valued
- Experience in meal or food preparation within the food industry or culinary settings is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
