A growing specialty dental practice is seeking a dedicated Front Office Administrator to join our team. We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, and dependable individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must. Our team is committed to providing an exceptional, personalized experience for every patient from the moment they walk through the door. Previous dental experience is preferred, and a dental assisting or clinical background is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
- Greeting and welcoming patients
- Answering phones and assisting with patient questions
- Auditing the daily schedule to ensure proper appointment templating
- Updating patient records and documenting pertinent information
- Verifying insurance and payment information
- Collecting and processing patient payments
- Presenting and coordinating treatment plans
- Communicating with referring dental offices
- Performing general administrative duties, including scanning, filing, and document management
- Assisting the doctors and team with special projects throughout the year
- Helping maintain an organized, efficient, and positive front office environment
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
- Dental office experience strongly preferred
- Specialty dental experience is a plus
- Dental assisting or clinical experience is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Positive, outgoing, dependable, and team-oriented
