Rent Portland Homes Darla Andrew's Office is hiring an Appfolio Senior Accountant for our Property Management Company.
MUST HAVE:
**Must have Appfolio or Yardi accounting experience**
**MUST HAVE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE**
We are seeking to hire a Property Management Senior Accountant to join our team that currently manages 1500 homes. The Senior Accountant will lead our 3 person accounting team with two APs and one Junior accountant to support them . Great team experienced with many accounting practices. Must have 3+ years of experience using AppFolio or Yardi Accounting. Compensation depends on experience.
Duties include:
- Process daily deposits.
- Create deposit details, cash receipt journals, and file paper documentation.
- Processing move-ins/move-outs.
- Client, vendor monthly billing.
- Bi-monthly check runs.
- Generate monthly financial and accounting reports.
- Monthly bank account reconciliations.
- Working with Property managers and accounting team.
- Organize and enter charge batches.
- Processing Payables including coding invoices.
- Cutting checks weekly.
- Accounts Receivable/Payable
Position Requirements:
- Must have previous experience working in property management accounting.
- Must have Appfolio experience.
- Strong computer skills -- proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and analytical software.
- Ability to multi-task, meet frequent deadlines, prioritize, and have strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable communicating with clients, vendors, and coworkers.
- Self-directed and high attention to detail.
- Proficiency with either Android or iPhone technology.
- Clean background check.
- Punctuality.
- Ability to follow through on tasks.
- Ability to project a professional, yet friendly demeanor in person, over the phone, and in emails while implementing proper phone etiquette and strong communication skills.
