Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Locksmith to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of lock mechanisms, security systems, and key cutting techniques. As a Locksmith, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients by ensuring their security needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain various types of locks and locking mechanisms for residential and commercial properties.
- Respond to emergency lockout situations promptly and professionally.
- Assess security needs and recommend appropriate locking solutions to clients.
- Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter to troubleshoot electrical locking systems.
- Cut keys and program electronic key fobs as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and inventory of locks and keys.
- Stay updated on the latest locksmithing techniques and security technologies.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of locksmithing tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically in emergency situations.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Attention to detail and precision in work execution.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of electronic locking systems is preferred but not mandatory.
