Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Building Automation Controls Install Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining sophisticated building automation systems that optimize energy efficiency, comfort, and safety across commercial and industrial facilities. Your expertise will ensure seamless operation of control systems, sensors, and automation devices, contributing to the overall performance and reliability of building infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and calibrate building automation control systems including sensors, actuators, and controllers.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and AutoCAD layouts to accurately implement control system designs.
- Conduct electrical work involving low voltage and high voltage wiring in accordance with safety standards and electrical codes.
- Perform maintenance on automation equipment, including calibration of sensors and precision measuring instruments such as ohmmeters.
- Utilize field service skills to diagnose issues with HVAC controls, sensors, software, and other automation components in manufacturing and new build
- Collaborate with clients to provide exceptional customer service by ensuring system performance aligns with operational needs.
- Document installation procedures, system configurations, and maintenance activities thoroughly for future reference.
- Support the integration of automation controls within existing manufacturing processes or facility infrastructure.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrician work or building automation controls installation.
- Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, for system design and troubleshooting.
- low/high voltage electrical work.
- Ability to read technical schematics accurately and interpret complex control diagrams.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
- Competence in using calibration tools such as ohmmeters and vision inspection systems for quality assurance purposes.
Pay: $20.00 - $60.00 per hour
