Overview
The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operational efficiency and safety of the facility, leading a multidisciplinary team, managing staff, coordinating with case managers, and supporting clients through compliance, quality assurance, and emergency response protocols. This role ensures adherence to facility policies, promotes independent living among clients, and fosters a supportive and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations
· Conduct regular facility inspections in accordance with the Daily Task List to ensure cleanliness, safety, and housing standard compliance.
· Address critical incidents such as psychiatric emergencies, substance-related crises, and behavioral challenges.
· Ensure strict adherence to all policies and procedures that support a safe and supportive environment.
2. Client Care Collaboration
· Work collaboratively with Case Managers, ICMS, FSP, and medical professionals to develop and execute client care plans.
· Monitor client progress and address relapse, crises, or behavioral concerns.
· Implement harm reduction strategies while maintaining enforcement of substance abuse policies.
· Conduct client reviews with case managers to assess needs and promote housing stability.
3. Staff Management and Development
· Supervise staff shifts to ensure full coverage and effective support.
· Lead daily huddles to review client concerns, appointments, medication updates, and operations.
· Train staff in de-escalation and crisis intervention methods.
· Address performance issues and implement corrective action plans in collaboration with HR.
· Promote staff growth through accurate and factual performance management.
· Collaborate with monitors and management to maintain a daily schedule that supports independent living.
· Redirect staff behavior when necessary to maintain a positive work environment.
· Maintain strong communication with Program Managers from other shifts and escalate concerns to upper management as needed.
· Report all tardiness and call-offs to HR and upper management.
4. Compliance and Documentation
· Ensure all client interactions, behavioral changes, and crises are accurately documented by staff.
5. Supplies and Food
· Track and manage food inventory to ensure clients’ nutritional needs are met.
· Maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials for daily operations.
6. Performance Metrics & Quality Assurance
· Track key client outcomes such as housing stability, mental health improvements, and reduced substance use.
· Conduct client satisfaction surveys to identify areas for improvement.
· Facilitate a weekly life skills group session.
· Attend and implement updates from weekly staff meetings (Zoom or in-person).
7. Emergency Protocols
· Train staff in detailed emergency procedures to ensure client and staff safety.
8. Client Onboarding
· Welcome new clients and communicate expectations, facility culture, and support resources.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
