The core requirements of the Maintenance Driver/Crew Member will be to assist in conducting site inspections and assistance the crew leader in normal lawn maintenance services. Promotion to foreman available after manager review.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing proper landscape methods and procedures, providing corrections as needed
- Inspect all grounds, lawns, landscaped areas, and landscaping regularly
- Ensure properties are maintained in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
- Report any unsafe or improperly maintained conditions and correct them where necessary
- Operate commercial mowers, push mower 21, weed-eater, blower, edgers, and recognize safety procedures and best practices
- Perform minor repairs and adjustments on machinery
- Operation of lawncare machinery, company trucks, and grounds maintenance equipment
- Constant communication with foreman and managers
- Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA and other Jobsite and Driver Safety Regulations, Company Policies, and Procedures
- Maintain tools and equipment in good, safe working condition
- Maintain Company Vehicle as per Company Requirements
- Attend and participate in required safety, training, and leadership meetings as applicable
- Work following all local health and safety laws and regulations at the shop, yard, and on-site

Requirements:
- Good understanding of plans and seasonal changes
- At least 1 year of ground maintenance experience
- Experience in all phases of landscaping (plant ID, pruning, mulching, mowing, edging, etc.) is a nice to know, but not required.
- Experience with 2 Cycle Equipment to include (but not limit) Gas Shears, Chainsaw, Brush Cutters
- Operation of a Company Vehicle is Required - acceptable MVR for business travel and reliable transportation to and from the office
- Carry and use a smartphone and/or data-enabled device for business communications and reporting
- Basic computer skills including email and Microsoft Office
Work Conditions / Essential Functions:
- Will be required to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods
- Manual, labor-intensive position, requiring lifting of up to 50 lbs
- Travel to and work at various locations including both residential and commercial sites
- Flexible working hours, including overtime and occasional weekend work
- Required to work around heavy equipment and other vehicles regularly
