Overview
Our luxury retail client is seeking a polished and detail-oriented Assistant Store Manager to support day-to-day operations at their East Hampton boutique. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-focused environment and enjoys balancing elevated customer service with strong operational execution. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and passionate about luxury fashion, jewelry, and boutique retail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Open and close the boutique while ensuring all daily operational procedures are completed accurately
- Support smooth day-to-day store operations, including seasonal transitions and peak summer business
- Maintain a polished, organized, and elevated sales floor environment at all times
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create personalized client experiences
- Assist with website orders, customer inquiries, and omnichannel transactions
- Support inventory management, shipment processing, stock replenishment, and back-of-house organization
- Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation standards are consistently maintained
- Assist with client outreach, appointment scheduling, and CRM follow-up initiatives
- Support store leadership with sales goals, reporting, and operational execution
- Partner closely with the team to ensure a seamless and luxury-driven shopping experience
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of luxury retail, boutique, or client-facing experience preferred
- Previous keyholder, supervisor, or assistant manager experience is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for fashion, jewelry, luxury retail, and client service
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced boutique environment
- Ability to multitask while maintaining a polished and professional demeanor
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
