Visiting Angels is seeking a_ Part-time_ (weekday, dayshift - 2 days a week) dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to provide guidance, and support for our caregivers and clients. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our clients receive high-quality care tailored to their needs.
Responsibilities
- Visit new clients in their homes to complete thorough initial nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Conduct follow-up assessments to monitor clients conditions and adjust personalized care plans as needed.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding health management and care options.
- Serve as a resource and advisor for caregivers, addressing any client-related concerns.
- Collaborate with caregivers to ensure the delivery of high-quality home care services.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and care provided.
- Assist in training and mentoring caregivers as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all home care regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Virginia with at least 5 years of nursing experience, preferably in home care or a related field.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, caregivers and office staff.
- Capable of managing documentation and scheduling assessments efficiently.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple client needs efficiently.
- Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to patient care while maintaining professionalism and integrity.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to visit clients.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be comfortable with home visits and client interactions.
