JOB Perform a variety of tasks associated with the maintenance, operation, and repair of the City's wastewater facilities and lift stations. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Duties include snow removal for the City during the winter months and other tasks as assigned within the Public Works Department. Wastewater tasks may include plant checks, troubleshooting/repair of equipment, record keeping, sampling, lab analysis, preparing regulatory reports, handling chemicals and ordering equipment/ supplies. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION The starting hourly rate ranges from $27.91 to $29.61 depending on qualifications along with an excellent benefit package including health, dental and life insurance effective on your first day of employment, participation in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund pension, 10 paid holidays, and vacation and sick hours that are earned on a monthly basis. Full salary range of Maintenance Worker I is $27.91 to $34.32/hour.
