This isn't a traditional project management position. The role is heavily focused on technical drafting in Vectorworks (roughly 60-70%), with the remaining time spent coordinating projects, working with clients, and collaborating with our fabrication team.
We're looking for someone who enjoys taking a designer's concept and turning it into clear, buildable fabrication drawings that can move seamlessly into production.
Our work includes custom scenic fabrication for broadcast studios, sports and entertainment productions, experiential activations, trade shows, branded environments, corporate events, and commercial installations.

IDF is a team of about 30-35 people made up of project managers, drafters, carpenters, welders, painters, CNC operators, and fabricators who work closely together to bring projects from concept to reality.
We're looking for someone who:
Has strong Vectorworks experience (required)
Understands scenic fabrication, exhibits, themed entertainment, experiential marketing, trade shows, or live event production
Can create detailed fabrication drawings and solve technical challenges
Enjoys working directly with production and shop teams
Is comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Wants to be part of a company where many employees have been with us for 10+ years
