Temmen Plastic Surgery and Med Spa is a boutique practice in South Tampa led by Dr. Traci M. Temmen, a female, board-certified plastic surgeon and multiple-time Tampa Top Doc.

We are looking for a smart, polished, highly organized, efficient, and personable Patient Coordinator / Surgical Consultant to join our team. This is a high-touch role centered around patient relationships, communication, consultation support, organization, and practice growth.
Approximately 2 days per week will be spent supporting in-person consultations with Dr. Temmen. The other 3 days will primarily be spent conducting scheduled Pre-Consultation Calls with prospective surgical patients.
You should be quick on your feet, excellent on the phone, confident discussing surgery and financing, and able to manage multiple priorities while making every patient feel genuinely cared for.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct scheduled Pre-Consultation Calls with prospective surgical patients (16 - 30 calls per week lasting 15-25 minutes)
- Build rapport, review medical history and surgery candidacy based upon office policy, learn about patient goals, answer questions, and prepare patients for their consultation
- Assist with in-person consultations alongside Dr. Temmen
- Guide patients through their options and next steps
- Present surgical quotes and discuss payment and financing options
- Coordinate scheduling, paperwork, payments, and other details
- Follow up consistently with prospective patients throughout their decision-making process
- Maintain organized and accurate patient records
- Track consultations, follow-ups, bookings, and key performance metrics
- Communicate closely with Dr. Temmen and the clinical team
- Contribute to improving the patient experience and practice growth

Qualifications:
- Sales, customer service, patient coordination, or medical office experience preferred
- Plastic surgery, aesthetics, dermatology, cosmetic dentistry, or luxury hospitality experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- College degree preferred, but not required for the right candidate

These are never cold calls—patients have already reached out to our office and are interested in learning more about surgery. Calls typically last 15–20 minutes, and on some days you may have 6–8 calls. You’ll learn about their goals, help determine whether they may be an appropriate candidate for consultation, answer questions, educate them about the process, and help them feel comfortable and prepared to meet with Dr. Temmen.
