Join Our Team at Alpine Music School!
Alpine Music School is a warm, welcoming private lesson studio serving Evergreen, Conifer, and the surrounding mountain communities. We're currently looking for a talented, passionate, and dependable violin, viola, and piano teacher to join our team. Bonus points if you can also teach other instruments! We currently have studio space available on Mondays & Thursdays and are looking for someone to work both days.
This job is a great fit for private teachers who'd like to have all of the scheduling, billing, parent communication, and marketing taken care of for them! We provide the students, the space, and the paycheck. You just teach!
What You’ll Do:
- Teach weekly one-on-one lessons (mostly ages 5–18, some adults)
- Build supportive, lasting relationships with students and families
- Work from our fully equipped studio space in beautiful Evergreen, CO
- Participate in recitals and school events
Who You Are:
- Music Education Degree OR several years of teaching experience
- Friendly, Flexible, Approachable personality
- Someone who has a love for teaching and their students - NOT just a musician looking for extra income
- Experienced in teaching kids, teens, and adults
- Clear communicator with strong follow-through
- Organized, professional, and dependable
- Interested in a long-term position with room to grow
Non-Negotiables:
- Available to teach Mondays & Thursdays from 2-7pm.
- Must be consistently available during your weekly teaching days
- Available for our Winter Recital - December 12, 2026
- Must be responsive and respectful in all communication
- Must arrive on time and prepared
- Must be open to following school-wide policies and teaching guidelines
- Must treat students, parents, and coworkers with professionalism and kindness

- Please keep in mind that winter weather and mountain travel can be unpredictable—local candidates will be more successful in maintaining a consistent schedule
- All lessons take place in person at our studio (this is not a remote position)
- You’ll receive clear onboarding and ongoing support from the studio owner and admin team
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
