Are you an experienced HVAC professional ready to take the next major step in your career? Indiana Geothermal is seeking a skilled Lead HVAC Installer with the drive, technical expertise, and leadership potential to quickly transition into an Installation Manager role.
This position is perfect for a high-performing installer who excels at the technical aspects of the trade but is eager to step away from daily tool work to train, manage, and lead a growing team.
What You’ll Do
- Execute & Oversee: Deliver high-quality HVAC installations while ensuring all work complies with local codes and company standards.
- Lead & Train: Mentor apprentices and junior installers, fostering a culture of safety, precision, and efficiency.
- Problem Solve: Turn complex technical challenges on the job site into seamless solutions under pressure.
- Manage Assets: Maintain company vehicles, tools, and inventory with a high level of organization and care.
- Customer Excellence: Provide top-tier service and clear communication to clients, representing the company with professionalism.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven HVAC installation experience. Geothermal experience is a HUGE plus!
- Certifications: EPA Universal Certification is required. NATE Certification is a strong plus.
- Leadership Track: Exceptional organizational skills and a natural ability to train, manage, and motivate people.
- Compliance & Safety: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving and criminal record. Strong working knowledge of standard HVAC codes. Must be able to work on base.
- Flexibility: Ability to handle job site stress effectively and work overtime or weekends as project demands require.
