Job Overview
Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturing company in Milpitas, CA, currently seeking an experienced electro-mechanical assembler.
Selected candidate will be responsible for the assembly, testing and repair of electro-mechanical assemblies in accordance with technical documentation.
Required Skills:
· Experience with optical fibers, cut and connect;
· Wiring and soldering skills;
· Must be able to read wiring diagram and mechanical drawing;
· Machining skill;
· Proficient in reading and understanding schematics;
· Know-how in operating power tools, hand tools and special tools on wiring and soldering;
· Align, fit, assemble and inspect mechanical modules using all types of hand tools according to assembly drawing and schematics;
· Install electrical, electronic and mechanical parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand tools.
· Knowledge of tolerances and fits in assembly and related QC;
· Knowledge of metric units and imperial units;
· Experience in hand drilling, taping and building things with moving parts;
· Perform quality control for manufacturing
· Experience working in a team environment;
- Experience reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals;
- Experience in writing routine reports and correspondence;
- Experience in speaking effectively to internal customers, peers and team members;
- Positive attitude;
· Computer literate is a plus;
· Prior experience with optics and semiconductor equipment is a plus;
· Experience with CE Mark, S2, S8, S14, UL Assembly requirements;
· 5+ years experience.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
