American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Same Day Surgery position in Tallahassee, FL, requiring Pre-Op, PAT, and Phase II Recovery experience with BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications.

Same Day Surgery unit in an acute-care hospital setting with 23 beds
-
Patient ratios are 1:1 in Pre-Op and PAT, and 1:4 in Phase II Recovery
-
Unit is supported by two unit secretaries and two PCTs
-
Documents using Meditech EMR
-
Schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM; no weekends or major holidays

No floating required
-
Equipment used includes iMobile, EPOC, and Mobilab

Active FL or Compact RN license required
-
Required certifications: BLS, PALS, and ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted; none may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)

Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in Same Day Surgery or a related specialty

Pre-Op, PAT, and Phase II Recovery experience required; Phase II Recovery experience is a must-have

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Two professional references required

No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

OR scrubs are required as the dress code

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
