Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Manage a wide range of health concerns across all age groups, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and adult patients, with a focus on family-centered care.
- Prescribe medications and treatments utilizing knowledge of pharmacology, including injection administration.
- Perform procedures such as suturing..
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Insync and Prognocis for accurate documentation of patient encounters, medical records, CPT coding, ICD-10 coding, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Engage in telehealth consultations to extend access to care and provide health coaching for chronic disease management or post-acute care planning.
Requirements
- Valid Family Nurse Practitioner license with current certification from an accredited program.
- Demonstrated experience working in clinical setting
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including CPT coding and ICD coding), and diagnostic evaluation techniques such as sonography or laboratory specimen processing.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent patient care standards.
- Excellent communication skills for triage assessments, patient education, team collaboration and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards along with sterile technique and infection control practices to ensure safety during all procedures.
