Job Duties:
- Oversees regional administrative operations, including human resources, purchasing, inventory, property control, travel coordination, budget support, and contract management to ensure efficient office operations.
- Supervises and develops administrative staff by assigning work, monitoring performance, providing training and coaching, and ensuring compliance with Civil Service and LDH policies.
- Manages regional purchasing, inventory, and property accountability, including procurement, surplus processing, annual inventory, and emergency purchasing activities.
- Coordinates regional travel, budget, and fiscal activities, including travel authorizations, reimbursements, purchasing card reconciliation, and monitoring administrative expenditures.
- Administers facility and office support services, including records management, telecommunications, emergency preparedness, maintenance coordination, and office safety.
- Serves as the regional liaison for human resources, payroll, telecommunications, and administrative services by coordinating personnel actions, resolving operational issues, and ensuring policy compliance.
- Develops and implements administrative policies, procedures, and process improvements while fostering teamwork, promoting employee engagement, and supporting continuous operational excellence.
