The Dartmouth Group, an Associa company, is hiring a Facilities Manager for its condominium community in Bourne.
Facilities Managers are responsible for an organization or facility's overall maintenance, whichincludes ensuring that equipment is operated and maintained according to manufacturer specifications,work performed meets safety requirements, and all maintenance workers follow appropriate federaland state safety guidelines. The specific duties of maintenance managers vary according to the specificindustry or organization, but generally include creating and following preventive maintenanceschedules, overseeing a staff of maintenance or custodial staff, and inspecting and testing equipment orbuilding systems.
Daily responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections.
- Coordinate maintenance repair with maintenance team onsite and outside maintenance contractors.
- Manage maintenance and capital projects and ensure work is completed per terms of the contract.
- Perform maintenance repairs as appropriate.
- Follow and maintain routine maintenance schedules.
- Manage direct report.
- Other duties as requested.
Pay rate: $65K - $75K
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- 2+ years of general, residential, maintenance experience.
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
- Customer service focused and team oriented.
- Self-motivated, proactive, takes the initiative, with strong follow-up skills.
- Knowledge of electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.); OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements and State or local governmental safety requirements.
- Time management and time critical prioritization skills
- Valid driver's license is required.
