Chiropractic Assistant takes care of many aspects typical of a Medical Assistant but requires on-the-job training only. Many of our assistants have gone on to nursing school, become physical therapists (PT) or physician assistants (PA)
At Vida we strive to serve patients with an integrated team approach in a fun atmosphere. We utilize a variety of healthcare experts to treat our patients holistically. Experience in the healthcare field and general knowledge of health insurance is a great advantage but not required. We will train the right person. The ideal candidate will be hard working, energetic, have great customer service skills and truly care about people. The required work shift generally follows main chiropractor doctor's patient schedule and is subject to some variability with patient volume. May travel to other Vida clinics locations as needed.
Required schedule:

Mon, Wed and Thurs 7am-4pm

Tues 7am -1pm

Friday 7am-12pm
Responsibilities that you will be trained in:

Rooming patients and taking histories

Front Desk and reception duties as assigned

Scribing for physical examinations

Medical documentation

Assisting with patient care

Taking X-ray (paid certification class provided)

Managing insurance authorizations

Patient liaison and follow-up calls

Stocking and cleaning treatment rooms
