Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week contract assignment at a Long-Term Care (LTC) nursing home in Mount Airy, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN who is passionate about providing high-quality care to residents in a supportive and collaborative environment. Contract extensions may be available based on performance and facility needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and physician orders.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the RN or physician.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality resident care.
- Educate residents and family members regarding care plans and treatments.
- Follow all facility policies, infection control guidelines, and state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina LPN License in good standing.
- Current BLS/CPR Certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, professional, and compassionate patient care approach.

Experience:
