If a driver is not accepted after receiving a Fleet invitation, the most common reasons are:
- Background check failed
- Serious criminal convictions that Uber disqualifies.
- Recent violent or sexual offenses.
- Certain driving-related offenses.
- Driving record issues
- Too many tickets or at-fault accidents.
- DUI/DWI convictions.
- License suspension or revocation.
- Not enough driving experience if required in their state.
- Driver’s license problems
- Expired license.
- Wrong license class.
- Name doesn’t match Uber records.
- Insurance or identity verification issues
- Identity couldn’t be verified.
- Requested documents weren’t submitted or were rejected.
- Already associated with another fleet or account issue
- They may need to leave another fleet before joining yours.
- Their account may be temporarily restricted or under review.
- Vehicle eligibility mismatch
- The vehicle they’re trying to use doesn’t qualify for the service they’re attempting to drive (such as Uber Black versus UberX).
- Uber account in poor standing
- Previous fraud or policy violations.
- Permanently deactivated account.
- Unresolved safety investigations.
