Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Medication Administration Personnel to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Safely administer prescribed medications to patients following established protocols and physician orders
- Accurately document medication administration using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Point Click Care.
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient responses, and any adverse reactions during medication delivery
- Maintain comprehensive medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies
- Assist with patient care activities including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting care.
- Follow all infection control procedures and ensure proper handling of medical documentation and records
- Support residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, memory care needs, or hospice requirements with compassionate caregiving
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medication administration techniques
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation
- Experience providing specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia is a strong plus
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and medical records management
- Hands-on experience with medical procedures including catheter care, vital signs monitoring, and tube feeding
- Background working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in hospice care settings is advantageous
Schedule: Full-time 6am-6pm & 6pm-6am
